Hi, I’m Daphne.
I help moms who feel exhausted with the busyness of their schedules, stumped by how to deal creatively and thoughtfully with parenting issues, and looking to make time and have the discipline to follow through on their own personal and professional goals — such as sticking with that health and wellness plan they’ve been on and off from, or that business they’ve been talking about for years!
As a former school counselor, with an M.Ed. in Counselor Education, I have experience working with kids and families on decision-making, goal-setting, academic planning, managing social/emotional issues, and working to help bridge and strengthen parent-child relationships.
As a veteran mom of two amazing boys, I have learned to be an expert at setting up systems so we can get out of the house on time without major meltdowns, maintain healthy habits so we can all show up better for each other, get through the to-do lists efficiently so we can get to the fun stuff, follow a balanced schedule that aligns with our core values and resists the overwhelm, and raise kind, creative, responsible, well-rounded, resourceful, self-motivated kids. I am also famous for my relentless pursuit for the perfect taco, Sunday morning runs, insatiable thirst for reading, Clash Royale stats, and dark chocolate obsession.
And did I mention that I’m married to the sweetest airline pilot in the world? He is an amazing husband and father, who somehow manages to be present and fully engaged in our family life even with the challenges of his job. And so it’s probably not a surprise that family travel is high on my list of priorities; not only because it brings us closer as a family, but also because it is the best way to teach kids about the world, help them develop a curiosity for learning and empathy for others; not to mention all the stories we get to re-live over and over again that form a big part in building a relationship that is built on mutual trust and respect and and fun! that continues to evolve as our kids grow.
Are you feeling stuck in overwhelm and busyness? Could your relationship with your kids use some extra attention? Do you feel a bit too one-dimensional, and wonder if there is a way to add some purpose to your life, other than being a mom? Are you tired of not showing up for your self and want to follow through on your health goals so you can be an even better mom for your kids?
I’d love to have a conversation with you! Find out how to work with me here.
